Miami`s pursuit of a major league baseball franchise is welcome news to former college ballplayer and down-on-his-luck building contractor John Deal. But Deal`s luck runs completely dry when his wife Janice is forced off a bridge while driving his car and police cannot locate the body. When Deal learns that the accident is connected to one man`s scheme to profit from the new baseball franchise and that Deal is standing in his way, the result is a one man quest for vengeance.
